DC Solar Training Programs – Living Energy Lights

Learn how to build resilience, sustainability, and energy sovereignty for your community with a direct drive DC Microgrid!

Living Energy Lights offers training programs that teach several ways to collect and store solar energy for residential use without batteries. Our trainings typically combine classroom-style teaching with hands-on training on a real life installation.

Workshop topics include:

Green building and solar thermal for heating and cooling
Solar direct, AKA direct drive circuits, for pumps and mechanical loads
Durable low voltage battery kits for lights and electronics
Biogas production for cooking fuel.

There programs are offered at a sliding scale, with no one turned away for lack of funds. However we do prioritize applicants who intend to apply this technology in their communities.
