Highly efficient, 16 inch wide fan with a durable brushless motor. All of the other DC fans that we have seen on the market have brush motors, which means they will be unusable in a few years. This fan should last for many years. The screens around the fan blades are metal. This fan will run all night long off our Iron Sun kit. Provides excellent air flow for a very modest amount of electricity, and very quiet as well.
