Click here to apply!<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Learn how to build resilience, sustainability, and energy sovereignty for your community with a direct drive DC Microgrid!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Living Energy Lights offers training programs that teach several ways to collect and store solar energy for residential use&nbsp;<em>without batteries<\/em>.&nbsp;Our trainings combine classroom-style teaching with hands-on training on a real life installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Workshop topics include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/livingenergylights.com\/?page_id=732\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"732\"><strong>Green building<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>solar thermal<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;for heating and cooling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solar direct,&nbsp;AKA&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/livingenergylights.com\/?page_id=833\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"833\"><strong>direct drive<\/strong>&nbsp;circuits<\/a>,&nbsp;for pumps and mechanical loads<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designing and building a <a href=\"https:\/\/livingenergylights.com\/?page_id=1108\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"1108\">direct drive water system<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Durable&nbsp;<strong>low voltage battery kits<\/strong>&nbsp;for lights and electronics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/livingenergylights.com\/?page_id=1131\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"1131\"><strong>Biogas<\/strong>&nbsp;production<\/a> for cooking fuel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There programs are offered at a sliding scale, with no one turned away for lack of funds. However we do prioritize applicants who intend to apply this technology in their communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Announcements about future training programs will be posted to this site and announced through the <a href=\"https:\/\/livingenergyfarm.org\/get-our-newsletter\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/livingenergyfarm.org\/get-our-newsletter\/\">Living Energy Farm newsletter<\/a>.
